A surrealist painting of a family of three sitting at a formal dinner table. A man, woman, and boy stare blankly. Their plates contain only bunches of black grapes. The woman pours red wine, which has spilled like blood on the white tablecloth.

Noia

A surreal exploration of 'Noia'—existential boredom—and the quiet desperation of modern routine.

Presented as a Digital Art Series in 3 parts, this body of work gives a name and a face to 'Noia'—not as existential boredom, but as the slow, chemical stupor induced by agricultural pesticides. The series operates at a symbolic frequency of 50 Hz, representing the invisible, industrial hum of the systems that poison the land. Set in a 'terroir sulfureux,' the inhabitants are trapped in a daze, their vitality eroded by a tainted harvest they are forced to consume. The work is a critical look at the invisible health crisis unfolding in our agricultural heartlands.
