A surrealist digital painting of a stern woman in a black suit standing in a barren landscape under a cloudy blue sky. She pushes a vintage pram with a white dog in it. Beside her, a small child in a dark dress holds a pink leash that is not attached to anything.

The Performance of Care

A surreal series questioning modern motherhood, emotional detachment, and the hierarchy of affection in the contemporary family.

This Digital Art Series, presented in 2 core works, is a surreal examination of a broken human connection. The project is conceptually tuned to 639 Hz—the Solfeggio frequency for relationships and interpersonal harmony—to better explore its profound and unsettling absence. In a sterile landscape, a mother's instinct is subverted into an act of cold control, creating a void where familial bonds should be. The series serves as a portrait of this 639 Hz void, questioning the nature of care in a world governed by performance over genuine feeling.
